How a Struggling Businessman
Discovered the “Missing Link” to his
Successful Product Launch
Scott Lambert had that sinking feeling in his stomach.
His real estate service concept - enabling those finding difficulty in securing a home loan – was a surefire winner; he was positive of that. But he wasn’t so sure he could pull off a successful launch for it to realize his dreams and goals.
Although Scott made a habit of staying current with professional education and training programs, something was missing. Scott had learned a lot from the masters in the Internet Marketing world.
Scott had purchased and studied every word of their training courses, and others – he even attended some of their workshops and seminars.
Scott felt well-trained, even well versed in the various online marketing and product launch concepts – but he felt that, even with all this training under his belt, he lacked “missing pieces” to get started – to pull off his product launch.
The “gaps” were in how to take all these concepts and actually set some financial goals, put a launch campaign plan together and then go execute in a way that achieved his goals.
Scott knew what was involved in a launch – but could he successfully structure and manage all the necessary tasks? He felt unsure. It’s one thing to hear about how launches are done, and to watch others doing their launches. It’s quite another to stare at that blank piece of paper and have to create a launch plan from scratch…
Scott always had done most everything by himself, hiring contractors to handle certain tasks from time to time; but he knew he was a “big picture” guy, and if he gets hung up, it’s on implementation or task execution. But this launch was too important to outsource or hand over to someone else. Scott knew he had to find a way to manage his own launch and execute properly on it.
Scott continued to put off the launch for his product concept. He continued to search for the “missing link” he needed to get the job done. Then he found WinningWare.com™, downloaded and read the "Launch Leverage Report", which was eye-opening.
Scott was then introduced to their blog. In the blog he found a “different take” on the launch process - one grounded in the corporate world - where planning, structure and execution must work in concert to get tasks done.
Scott appreciated the plain talk and straightforward treatment of complicated business processes (like launches).
But even more exciting was the mention in the blog of a new launch automation software product, WinningWare QuickLaunch™.
Here was what appeared to be the “missing link” he had been searching for: a tool designed to help small businesses launch their products and websites faster and more profitably; a tool to structure and simplify the launch process.
Could it be this was what Scott had been looking for – would it measure up? Would it help Scott get past the hurdles and sticking points that always seemed to hold him back from executing successfully?
To his surprise, inside WinningWare QuickLaunch, Scott found the entire launch process laid out for him – he could customize the steps and information to suit his preferences.
In Scott’s own words, “…I felt relief. Everything was stepped out – perfectly laid out. The product helped me to first focus on features and benefits - and the rest of my messaging. And this enabled me to fully concept my product offerings in stages.”
Scott knew that he probably would never have reached that point on his own – he would have had to hire out to get the necessary expertise. But now he felt he had the tools and confidence to give it a try – and so he did.
Using WinningWare QuickLaunch, Scott entered the information about his launch revenue goals, launch objectives, details about his product and messaging. The Launch Wizard™ took Scott through a simple step-by-step process, helping him organize his thoughts and launch one piece at a time. In just a few hours, Scott had defined his first complete launch project inside WinningWare QuickLaunch.
Scott later told me, “If I had known everything about my business I would have been able to define my launch project in about an hour. It took 2-3 hours because I was answering questions I had not thought of yet. For example I was not thinking about sales pages and headlines before that point. My next run through I will be able to answer the wizard questions in an hour or less.”
The next week, the phone rang. It was a financial associate of Scott's, talking about a timely opportunity. Scott had an idea. I’ll use the tactics and tools I have in WinningWare QuickLaunch and run a one-week “mini launch,” quickly taking advantage of this opportunity presented by my business associate.
It only took a few hours to put everything together for the mini-launch – the landing page, the offer, the email sequence and the steps involved. This launch sequence went out to Scott's in-house list - a few thousand subscribers.
Within the first week, Scott’s efforts netted him $ 19,000 USD for the launch campaign itself, plus a (projected) $75K to $100K backend revenue stream to be realized over the balance of the year.*
Scott is now feeling confident and in control of his launch process with these newfound capabilities and launch tools.
In Scott’s own words, “…Thanks for providing the missing link - even if you know nothing about launches, or have been through a lot of launch training - it doesn’t matter - this is the missing link to a successful launch process. It saved me a lot of time, a lot of trouble, and a lot of expense.”
Now Scott is underway with a series of regional launches to introduce his new real-estate business model and products across Canada.
