The “launch micro site” is a great way to organize all of your most important launch information in a single place, making it easy for the various launch audiences to find everything quickly and easily.
Here’s an example product launch micro site we created for WinningWare QuickLaunch™.
This site can be a standalone site and domain, or an extension of your existing website. In our case, we chose to do both – 1) extend our existing WinningWare.com website (for future SEO purposes mainly), and 2) register a micro site domain name that redirects to the proper page on our main website; i.e., quicklaunchsite.com. The reason for the domain name is to make it easier for word of mouth and bloggers to spread the word with a single domain link (a common practice in advertising online and TV today).
